On 24th October 2023, the entire India will celebrate the festive of Vijayadashami. Vijayadashami, aka Dussehra<\/a><\/strong>, is a Hindu festival celebrated annually on the last day of Navaratri. According to the Hindu Luni-Solar Calendar, Vijayadashami is celebrated on the 10th day of Ashvin month. It is celebrated with the burning of Ravana effigies in public gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meaning of Vijayadshami is the victory on the tenth day. This festival plays a significant role in Indian history as it marks the beginning of the Diwali Festival. If we break the word into two, ‘Vijaya’ means Victory or triumph, and ‘Dashami’ means 10th day. So, collectively it refers to the victory of good over evil on the tenth day after the completion of the Navratri festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
