There was a time, in 2017 when a class 12 student needed to pursue the standard educational path, which included finishing a 3- to 4-year graduate program if they wanted to work as an IT<\/strong> expert for one of the major MNCs. This did not, however, guarantee them a job upon completion of the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

HCL Technologies has launched a new initiative for class 12th students called the HCL TechBee program. It is part of HCL’s early career program in which the students can get to do some entry-level jobs at HCL Technologies after successfully passing the class 12th examinations. About HCL TechBee Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For students who do not wish to go through the conventional mode of education to get a job; alternatively, for students who wish to be financially independent after completing their class 12th, HCL has come up with an early career program named “HCL TechBee”. The program takes students through a 12 months training program which helps students to build certain skills required for getting a suitable job in the IT sector. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program alongside contributing to the government’s ‘Skill India’ mission, trains students for entry-level IT jobs over a period of 6-12 months. On completion of this program, the students get full-time IT jobs such as software engineers<\/strong> within HCL Technologies. The program works on grooming the overall academic and personality aspect of the students in order to make them future job-ready. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This training program has been launched in Noida, Lucknow, Madurai, Chennai, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Vijayawada, and Hyderabad, with over 2000 students benefiting since its inception in 2017. Owing to the phenomenal success of this program in India, HCL-Tach has launched this program in several other countries as well such as – New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Canada, Sri Lanka and many more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rules & Alerts To Be Considered Before Application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

HCL-Tech warns students of the unfair practices being used in the market in the name of the TechBee program. Here are some of the rules and alerts that the students must take into consideration before applying for the program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. There are no recruitment\/processing fees, security deposits, or software equipment charges laid out by HCL-Tech for the said program. The company also does not ask for any money from students for ensuring them with a job in the company. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The program is conducted solely by the HCL-Tech Training and Staffing services and not by any vendors. Thus, students must not rely on any of the third-party vendors. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. As the students are assured to get a job post the completion of this training, they must note that the offer letters will only be provided online by the official email address of HCL-Tech ending in the extension – “@hcl.com” and no other email extensions will be used to circulate the offer letters. Candidates can identify a fake email or offer letter if it has come from an ID belonging to the public domain, for example – an email ID with the extension “@gmail.com” or “@yahoo.com”. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. HCL-Tech never asks students for their confidential information such as their bank details, other personal details or complete Aadhaar card number. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The offer letters are posted on the candidate’s access portal by a verified email ID belonging to HCL-Tech. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Eligibility Criteria for the HCL TechBee Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    There is no set age limit for applying to this program. The list of board-wise segregation of the required marks for eligibility to this program is given below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The other terms of the eligibility criteria include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Candidates must score a minimum of 60 % of marks in Mathematics or Business Mathematics for the IT role. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Applicants must be “Indian” residents only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Candidates must have passed their class 12 exam either in 2022 or 2023 or they must be appearing in 2024. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. In case a student applies for improvement in class 12 examinations, and thus receives an extra copy of the mark sheet (apart from the original one), i.e. the improvement mark sheet, then, the aggregate percentage of scores will be considered from the new mark sheet only. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
