The <\/strong>Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET)<\/strong><\/a> is an entrance examination for students who are aspiring to be in the teaching profession for classes 1st to 8th in the state of Orissa. It is a state-level examination. To appear for the examination, students must at least pass the B.Ed examination. The exam is conducted every year by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE). OTET Exam 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The OTET exam is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha, to check the competence of the candidates who are appearing for the positions of the teacher examination for primary and upper primary levels (Class 1st to 8th). The type of questions in this examination is MCQ type with subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy<\/strong>, <\/strong>Language, <\/strong>Mathematics,<\/strong> <\/strong>Social Sciences<\/strong>, <\/strong>and <\/strong>Environmental Studies.  <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

OTET exam consists of 2 papers and the subjects in these papers are similar. Both the papers weigh 150 marks and the duration of the examination is 2.5 hours. OTET Cut-off 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

As per the latest reports, the cut-off for the year 2023 has not been released yet. However, according to last year\u2019s statistics, there is a tentative qualifying percentage listed. Refer to the table below for the marks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As per the OTET Exam analysis, this exam is categorized into two parts- Part 1 and Part 2. Candidates have to appear for these exams on the basis of the position they are applying for. In Part 1, there are 150 MCQ-type questions for 150 marks and in Part 2, there are 210 questions for 210 marks.
