Refer to the following pointers to go through the details pertaining to the reservation of seats.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students hailing from the state of Karnataka and other regions, including Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Yadgir, Koppal, and Bellary will be deemed eligible for the reservation of seats.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who wish to reap the benefits of reservation must be able to meet the eligibility criteria and procure their credentials that are verified by the state\u2019s Assistant Commissioner.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates who meet the Karnataka PGCET Eligibility criteria can reserve their seats.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates who are non-Karnataka residents will not be able to avail the benefits of PGCET Seat Reservation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates with higher chances of getting their seats reserved will not be able to avail of the benefits of reservation if they are unable to book their slots on time due to unavailability. The Ex-Defense Category is one such unique category that is considered eligible for PGCET Reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ex-defense-special-category\">Ex-Defense Special Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Candidates whose parents have served the nation as Ex-Servicemen are eligible for the Karnataka PGCET reservation. Such candidates must procure their residence certification in order to reserve their seats.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It should be noted that the certificate of residence must be authorized by the candidate&#8217;s district&#8217;s Joint Director\/Deputy Director.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Individuals who are unable to procure the requisite documentation will not be permitted seat allocation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children whose parents served in the armed forces but are physically incapacitated or have been killed qualify for such a reservation.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates intending to pursue <strong>M.E<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong>, M.Arch., and M.Tech. courses in the state of Karnataka are not eligible for such a reservation.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-physically-disabled-special-category\">Physically Disabled Special Category<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Three percent (3%) of seats are reserved for <strong>physically disadvantaged candidates<\/strong> in the state of Karnataka under the reservation policy.
