KMAT Seat Allotment: Number of Seats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thousands of people apply for admission to MBA programs in Karnataka. However, only a limited number of applicants get selected based on their application. The total number of seats offered by the Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) for KMAT 2023 is 15,000 for the year 2023. Further, the seats are reserved for people belonging to backward classes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that candidates who belong to other states will be treated as general candidates. Local students can avail the benefits of reservation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reservation of Seats<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In KMAT, seats are reserved for 4 backward classes. According to KMAT reservation criteria<\/strong><\/a> Students who belong to any of these categories will get seats reserved for their category. Refer to the table below for detailed information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KMAT Seat Allotment Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to the notification of the exam, every shortlisted candidate needs to go through the KMAT seat Allotment process. It is based on the rank secured by the candidates in the entrance examination.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates who have secured a decent rank by scoring equal to or more than a fixed cut-off, are eligible to participate in the seat allotment process. This process will be conducted in online mode. They need to submit their preferences for colleges and courses before the deadline. The allotment of seats is done based on merit and preference.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat will be required to pay the prescribed fee and confirm their admission. Those who fail to do so will forfeit their seat and will not be considered for further rounds of allotment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
