To discuss its history, we must first discuss the establishment of the World Health Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>In December 1945, representatives from Brazil and <a href=\"https:\/\/leverageedu.com\/blog\/category\/study-in-china\/\"><strong>China<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>proposed the establishment of an all-encompassing and completely independent worldwide health institution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Half a year later, in July 1946, the World Health Organization&#8217;s constitution was approved in<strong> <\/strong>New York. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On April 7, 1948, 61 countries signed an agreement to establish the Organization, and the constitution went into effect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They established World Health Day as one of the organization&#8217;s first formal initiatives. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It was first marked on July 22, 1949, but the date was later changed to April 7, the anniversary of the creation of WHO, in order to increase student participation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Since 1950, this day has had a different subject each year, which is chosen by the current WHO Director-General based on nominations from member governments and employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is the Theme of World Health Day?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The theme of World Health Day 2024 is <strong>\u201cMy Health, My Right\u201d.<\/strong> It empowers individuals to recognize their healthcare rights and own them.
