The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Management Entrance Test is a national-level exam that is conducted online. The UPESMET counselling is administered after the MET exam. Candidates who clear the UPESMET are called for the counselling process. Candidates who have a valid CAT<\/strong><\/a>\/GMAT<\/strong><\/a>\/XAT\/MAT\/CMAT\/NMAT score will be called directly for counselling. UPES MET Counselling Process 2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies conducts the UPESMET counselling process for admission to the MBA course. After the declaration of UPESMET results the selection process will start and the shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling.  The counselling process consists of three rounds. The first round is Ground discussion<\/strong>, and in the second round, document verification takes place. Candidates have to go through a personal interview<\/strong> in the third round. Let us look at all the rounds of the counselling process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1<\/strong>. Group Discussion: <\/strong>The selected candidates will be called for the group discussion. Ten to fifteen participants will have to share their views on a given topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Document Verification<\/strong>: After group discussion, the exam authorities will verify the documents of the selected candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Personal Interview: <\/strong>In the third round, candidates will have to go through a personal interview. Candidates will be accessed on the basis of their logical and reasoning skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Final Selection: <\/strong>The result of the group discussion and personal interview will be released after a few weeks. The candidates will be selected based on their overall performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
