The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is responsible for conducting the national-level IRMA Social Awareness Test, or the IRMASAT<\/a><\/strong>, annually to enrol meritorious and deserving candidates in the esteemed institute\u2019s lucrative PGD (Post Graduate Diploma) Programme in Rural Management (PGDRM)  and Fellow Programme in Rural Management (FPRM).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, prospective candidates aspiring to carve lucrative and flourishing career trajectories in the field of Rural Management are encouraged to appear for the said test. Coming to the exam itself, the mode of IRMASAT 2023 will be online based. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is to be noted that individuals aspiring to pursue the PGDRM Programme can even procure their CAT or XAT scores to get enrolled into the revered institute. Prospective candidates aspiring to further their education in the mentioned courses from IRMA are mandated to go through a three-step procedure, namely the registration process, Written Ability Test (WAT) and the Personal Interview<\/strong> (PI) round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Criteria for getting shortlisted<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Meritorious and promising candidates will be shortlisted for IRMA admissions on the basis of Merit-based Calls and Profile-cum-merit -based calls. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Merit-Based Calls: It is up to the notable selection committee to determine the category-wise cutoff for candidates who appeared for CAT\/ XAT 2023 Exams. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Profile-cum-merit based Calls: Eligible candidates satiating the mentioned criteria will be shortlisted for such calls:- <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Graduation in  Agri Packaging and Processing\/ Agriculture\/ Agriculture Engineering\/ Dairy Technology\/Fishery\/Food Science\/Forestry\/ Horticulture<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Work experience in the Development Sector, Social Impact, Livelihoods, Policy and Advocacy, Agriculture and Allied Sectors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The application window for the IRMASAT 2023 was active till 31st December 2022. Registered candidates are required to appear for their personal interviews between 13th February  2023- 5th March 2023 (except Sundays). As for those residing outside India, personal interviews will be held online during the third week of March 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      IRMASAT Placements 2023-2023<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The 2022 Placement Drive organised by IRMA was a tremendous success. During the same year, a total of 431 job opportunities were made available to a group of 251 participants, in addition to 19 pre-placement offers. The said year also witnessed an increment in the highest, median & mean salary by 39.47%, 48.51% & 34.67% respectively (compared to hitherto), with the highest salary package going up to  INR 26.50 LPA.  The IRMA Summer Internship Placements conducted from 2021 to 2023 witnessed the placement of around 250 students and 450 job internship offers. The list of recruiters encompassed a myriad of notable names, including Amul, Axis Bank, Cred Avenue, Flipkart, ICICI Bank, Vedanta CSR etc.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
