IBSAT Merit List 2023:<\/strong> ICFAI generates a final merit list after the conduction of Group Discussion<\/strong> and <\/strong>Personal Interview<\/strong> rounds. IBS will publish the merit list based on the candidate’s overall performance. So, for each of the nine IBS campuses, a different set of final admission criteria will be used in the selection process. The 2022 IBSAT Exam Merit List was released on March 9th 2023 by the conducting authorities and the 2022 result was announced in December 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IBSAT Merit List Weightage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The IBSAT merit list depends on various parameters. Candidates must know all the parameters to study and prepare for the exam accordingly. The IBSAT Merit list weightage is given in the table below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IBSAT Selection Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before the IBSAT merit list is released the candidate has to go through a selection process to get admission to any of the IBS campuses. We have briefly explained the IBSAT process below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. IBSAT Cut-Off: A cut-off for all the nine campuses of IBS is released and students are called for the other rounds.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Booking a Slot: For the selection briefing, candidates must book a slot (time, date, and city) on the IBS website. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. IBSAT Selection Briefings: the ICFAI commences the selection briefings in 54 locations. The candidates are told about the culture of the institute.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. GD\/PI round: In the GD round, a group of eight to ten applicants are given a subject to discuss and are asked to articulate their opinions in detail. Members of the selection committee interview the shortlisted candidates during the PI phase. The primary objective of PI is to assess a candidate’s general knowledge, communication abilities, and mental and verbal clarity. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          After all these rounds the final merit list will be released and the selected candidates will be informed. Therefore, the selected students will be called for admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          FAQs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          Are the IBSAT cut-off and merit list the same?<\/strong>

          No, they are not the same. The IBSAT cut-off specifies the minimum marks required to get selected for the further admission process. However, the IBSAT merit list has the names of all the candidates who are selected based on their previous academic records, PI and group discussion.<\/p> <\/div>

          What are the parameters on which the IBSAT merit list is prepared?<\/strong>

          The parameters which decide the merit list are the past academic records i.e. 10th class, 12th class and Graduation records. Also, the candidate’s performance in Group discussions and Personal Interviews helps in preparing the IBSAT merit list.<\/p> <\/div>

          Is the IBSAT exam conducted online or offline?<\/strong>

          IBSAT is a computer-based test and is conducted only in online mode. ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education conducts the exam once a year.<\/p> <\/div>

          What type of questions are asked in the IBSAT exam?<\/strong>

          Multiple choice questions are asked in IBSAT. The candidate has to answer 140 questions in 120 minutes.<\/p> <\/div> <\/div>\n\n\n\n
