All India Law Entrance Test, commonly known as AILET<\/strong>, is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi (NLU, Delhi). AILET exam<\/strong><\/a> is conducted once every year for admission to the integrated BA LLB<\/strong>, LLM<\/strong>, and PhD<\/strong><\/a> programmes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates should note that NLU Delhi is the only National Law University that does not accept the score of CLAT<\/strong> 2023 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. All the other remaining 22 NLUs will accept CLAT scores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AILET PG 2023 Reserved Seats<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are a total of 81 seats available for the LLM program<\/strong> at the National Law University, Delhi. However, there are reservations across categories which are noted in the table below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is pertinent to mention that 5% seats are Horizontally Reserved across the categories for the PwD candidates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AILET PG 2023 Reservation Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In order to avail the benefit of the reservation seats, candidates will need to submit the documents attesting to the fact that they are eligible to avail the benefits of the reservation. The documents required for each category are noted below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes<\/td>To avail of the benefit of the reservation, candidates must have a valid certificate issued by the competent authority. As proof of a candidate’s claim to the seat, certificates provided by the following authority stand valid:
District Magistrate\/Additional District Magistrate\/Collector\/ Deputy Commissioner\/Additional Deputy Commissioner\/1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate\/Sub-Divisional Magistrate\/Taluka Magistrate\/Executive Magistrate\/Extra Assistant Commissioner.
Chief Presidency Magistrate\/Additional Chief Presidency Magistrate\/Presidency Magistrate.
Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
Administrator, Secretary to the Administrator, or the Development Officer (Lakshadweep and Minicoy Islands). <\/td><\/tr>
Other Backward Classes-Non-Creamy Layer<\/td>Only those candidates can apply who have the certificate issued by the competent authority under the General list of OBCs or under the Delhi State List of OBCs (Notified by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi). As proof of a candidate’s claim to the seat, certificates provided by the following authority stand valid:

Economically Weaker Section (EWS)<\/td>The benefit of the reservation can be availed only after the production of valid Income and Asset certificates from the competent authority at the time of provisional admission. As proof of a candidate’s claim to the seat, certificates provided by the following authority stand valid:

Persons with Disabilities (PwD) <\/td>Candidates possessing a valid certificate issued by the competent authority will be eligible to apply under this category.   <\/td><\/tr>
Kashmiri Migrants<\/td>Candidates belonging to the Kashmir valley, are Kashmiri Pandits\/Kashmir Hindu families (non-migrants) can avail of the reserved seat only after producing a valid certificate provided by the competent authority at the time of provisional admission. Since the seat of the Kashmiri migrant is supernumerary, in case the seat remains empty, it won\u2019t be converted to any other category in case it remains unfilled.  <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
