CA CPT 2024-25<\/strong>: The CA CPT 2024, also known as the Common Proficiency Test, is for admission to the Chartered Accountant course. It is one of the most sought-after entry-level exams among students for a very long time. CA CPT exam is replaced by CA Foundation Exam. The CA CPT Notification for November 2024 will be released soon. The notification will cover dates regarding the registration window, correction window, exam dates, and results for the 2024 CA CPT Exam.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA CPT 2024 Exam Dates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The notification for the November exam 2024 dates is yet to be published by the ICAI. The officially confirmed dates of registration and examination etc will be announced on the ICAI website soon. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CA CPT 2024 (December) Admit Card\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Admit cards are generally released 14 days before the examination and contain the details of the test centre, course, roll number etc. All the candidates are required to carry a hard copy of the admit card for the examination. Entry to the exam hall without the admit card is prohibited. The steps to download the admit card are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    CA CPT 2024 Exam Pattern\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The CA CPT is a Pen-Paper-Based Test (PBT) conducted offline at various exam centres decided by the organising body. The CA CPT is conducted in two different shifts over a weekend. The first shift starts from 10:30 am to 12:30 and the second shift is from 02:00 pm to 04:00 pm. The exam has four sections for which the candidates have to appear separately over different days or shifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    CA CPT 2024 Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    There is a set eligibility criterion for the Chartered Accountant Foundation exam and the candidates sitting for the exam must fulfil those requirements to be eligible for admissions at any point if the candidate is unable to prove their eligibility they will be disqualified for the exam. The eligibility criteria for the CA CPT Exam foundation course are given below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. To sit for the foundation exam in November 2024 session the candidate must be registered with the Board of Studies by April 2024.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. The candidate must have given the 10+2 exam from a centre or state-recognised institution before giving the foundation exam. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. The candidates whose 10+2 results are awaited can appear for the exam. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. There is no age limit for the CA CPT exam. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    5. There are no minimum marks required for the foundation exam but candidates who have secured 55% or more marks in Bachelor in Commerce are exempted from writing the foundation exam altogether. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      CP CPT 2024 Application Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      The application process starts with the release of online application forms on the official website. The candidate who is already registered can log in using their credentials and fill out the application form. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The application fee of INR 400 has to be paid by the candidate before the final submission of the form. The steps to apply for the CA CPT Exams are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Open the official website of ICAI.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Log in and click on \u2018Apply for CA CPT\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Fill in the required details in the application form. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
      4. Attach the required documents like passport size photograph and signature.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      5. Pay the application fee through the payment gateway and print the fee receipt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

        After the application window is closed, the candidates will be given a correction window of a few days. The correction window is open in two sessions, the corrections during the first session are free of charge and the corrections made in the second session of the correction window incur late fee charges. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        CA CPT 2024 Answer Key<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        The CA CPT Answer Keys for the June exam will be declared after the examination. Candidates can avail of the answer keys on the official ICAI website.             CA CPT 2024 Selection Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

            The CA CPT is a paper-based test used as a benchmark in the selection of students for the CA Courses. The overall qualifying marks for this exam are 50% or 100 marks out of 200 in the four sections combined. The required score in various sections is given below. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
