Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited conducts the UPPCL Exam each year to hire Junior Engineers, Assistant Accountants, Accounts officers, Technicians, Stenographers etc. The UPPCL JE Exam for the post of Junior Engineer is the most popular exam amongst emerging engineers to acquire Government Jobs. 

The process of the UPPCL exam takes months in Application, Documentation, Release of exam dates, conduction of various exams, declaration of results and getting the new joiners onboard with the system. 📈UPPCL 2024 Exam Pattern 

The exam is conducted in CBT format for 2-3 hours. There is a 0.25 negative marking system for each wrong answer and 30% is the minimum qualifying criteria. The exam pattern for Technician (Electrical) and Assistant Accountant is as follows:

📚UPPCL Exam Syllabus 2024

The syllabus for the UPPCL exam includes topics from Engineering (Diploma Level ), General Awareness/Knowledge, Reasoning, and Basic Hindi. The detailed syllabus is mentioned hereunder.

UPPCL Exam Syllabus for General Studies	This division includes National and International current affairs, the knowledge of culture and heritage, events of national importance, Indian history, constitution, geography and economy, science and technology (based on technical subjects).
UPPCL Exam Syllabus for General Languages	A general understanding of languages with questions based on Vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, editing omission, fill-ups, translation and comprehensions, idioms, and Grammar is tested.
UPPCL Exam Syllabus for General Reasoning	This test is based on Eligibility, data sufficiency, classification, analogy, logic, coding and decoding, theme detection, ranking and clocks, arithmetical reasoning, Venn diagrams, sense of directions, argument statements, logical sequencing, and deriving conclusions from passages.

📋UPPCL Exam Eligibility Criteria 

Before applying for the exam the candidates must check the eligibility criteria as admission can be subject to rejection on the non-availability of mandatory documents. 

1. All applicants must have completed their higher education in Hindi. If not, then within 3 years of joining, the candidate has to appear for an exam organized by the Registrar of the UP Department Examination Government.
2. The applicant must possess 3 years of regular education in the subject of specification accredited by Prathvik Shiksha Parishad, AICTE, or equivalent from a recognized university. 
3. The applicant must be between 18-40 years of age as of 01 January 2024 to be eligible to apply. There are age relaxations for people from SC, ST, OBC(NCL) and those of UP Domicile, ex-servicemen from the armed forces. 
4. A relaxation of 5 years applies to those dependent on freedom fighters and up to 15 years for persons with disabilities.

The procedure is simple and consists of 2 steps:

Registration

1. Go to the UPPCL home page and click on the Vacancy/results icon on the homepage. 
2. Click on ‘Apply’ against the vacancy of your choice. A new window will open.
3. Click on ‘New user Registration’ for the given post. 
4. Fill in your particulars according to your documents.
5. Click ‘Submit’.

Application

1. Log in using the user ID and Password on your registered email or phone number. 
2. Complete the details.
3. Attach the required documents.
4. Submit the form and pay the application fees.

The UPPCL exam cut-off depends on the following factors:

• Number of Vacancies.

The minimum qualifying mark for each category is 30%. The intake is highly dependent on the cut-off. 

💯UPPCL 2023 Result

The UPPCL 2023 exam result is set to be released soon, but the dates are not yet announced by the department. The UPPCL result is released within a few weeks of the exam and the candidates receive a notification from the department. Here is how you can check the UPPCL Exam result.
