Educational Qualification

- Candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 45% in their 10th grade. Applicants must hold a diploma in elementary education.

- Must have completed 2 years of D.Ed with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
- Candidates must hold a degree in either BA/B.Sc.Ed, BA, or BA. Ed or B.Sc Ed with a minimum of 50% marks. Candidates with degrees in BA/B.Sc/B.com with a minimum of 50% mark.
Upper Primary Teacher
- Applicants must have scored a minimum score of 45 % in their 10th grade and must hold a diploma in elementary education.
- Candidates must have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% mark in their higher secondary (12th grade), and must have a degree in B.El.Ed.
- Candidates with a degree in BA/BSc and a minimum aggregate of 50% mark are deemed eligible for the said position.
- Applicants must have completed a two-year D.EI.ED degree (in check with the NCTE regulations). Applicants must hold a one-year B.Ed/four-year B.El.Ed/Diploma in Special Education.
Meghalaya TET Age Limit
The age limit deemed eligible for the Meghalaya TET examination 2022 lies between the age groups of 21 years to 32 years (at the time of application). Those belonging to the ‘Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) group’ communities are provided with a five-year age relaxation.
