Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 Exam Pattern

The examination will be conducted in an offline mode. Candidates must use only a black or a blue ball pen while answering the multiple-choice questions, within the given timeframe of 2 hours. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions carrying a weightage of 1 mark per question. There is no negative marking in the exam for incorrect answers. Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Aspirants of the Bihar B.Ed CET 2023 examination need to be graduates or postgraduates from a recognised university. The minimum qualifying marks for CET are 50% for the applicants. Candidates who hold a degree from the engineering stream need to have secured a minimum of 55% of marks to be eligible for the exam. 

Regular Education Mode Eligibility

• The qualifying percentage for a regular B.Ed programme in the State of Bihar is 50% for a graduate from the science, social science or humanities stream.
• The engineering or technical stream graduates need to secure 55% of their marks to apply for a regular mode of education. 
• Candidates in a reserved category are granted 5% relaxation in the examination.

Distance Learning Eligibility

If any candidate is aiming to register for a distance mode of learning, then he or she needs to have secured at least 50% in their bachelor’s or master’s (BA or MA) course. The qualifying percentage for reserved categories is 45% of marks while applying for the 2-year B.Ed programme in distance mode.
