AUMAT Score Vs Percentile

AUMAT 2023 exam will take place in September 2023 tentatively. The AUMAT 2023 exam is divided into five sections: Quantitative, Conceptual, General Knowledge, English Proficiency and Comprehension. The exam comprises 45 Multiple Choice Questions and students will be given 60 minutes to complete the paper.

Difference Between AUMAT Score and Percentile

The AUMAT Percentile will be calculated from the overall rank secured by the candidate. Here is a table highlighting the differences between AUMAT Score and AUMAT Percentile.

The score of the AUMAT exam will be calculated based on the answers marked by the applicant in their answer sheets The percentile for the AUMAT exam depends on the final rank obtained by the applicant out of the total number of candidates.
The candidate will be awarded a +1 mark for every correct answer they selected on the answer sheet.
In the fifth section for every correct answer, the candidate will be awarded 2 marks.
If an applicant secured 200th rank out of 3000 candidates, this means 199 applicants are ahead of this 200th person.
For every incorrect answer, a 0.25 mark will be deducted from the applicant’s overall score. An applicant who has secured the 200th rank out of 3000 candidates means that 2800 candidates are behind that person.

AUMAT Result

The exam authorities will release the AUMAT 2023 result after the entrance exam is conducted. The results are expected to be announced after September 2023. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official website of Alliance University. Candidates can also download the AUMAT result after entering their login credentials. Students must take a printout of the AUMAT scorecard for future reference.


What will be my AUMAT score if I got 30 questions right and skipped the fifth section of the paper?

If a candidate got 30 questions right and has no incorrect responses the score will be 30. However, the case will reverse if there are negative answers marked by the candidate. Candidate’s scores will be calculated after the deduction of negative marks.
