AMAT Selection Process 2023

Alliance University administers the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT) to select qualified and interested applicants for the MBA program at Alliance School of Business in Bangalore. The University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), both in New Delhi, acknowledge Alliance University. AMAT Selection Process 

There are four stages of selection conducted by Alliance School of Business, Bangalore admissions officials. AMAT written exam followed by an Oral presentation and Personal Interview. 

AMAT Written test 

The AMAT written exam will be held in offline mode this year. The AMAT question paper comprises 65 questions in total and every question carries one mark. AMAT paper is of 1 hour in total. Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning. Language Ability and General knowledge are the four sections of the test. One mark will be given for each right answer. 0.25 points will be deducted for each incorrect attempt. Every section of the AMAT question paper is worth 15 points, but the comprehension section is worth only five. For unanswered questions, no points are deducted or awarded.

Oral  Presentation 

This is used to assess candidates’ ability to communicate orally. Candidates must deliver an oral presentation on topics chosen by the interview panel. Let’s discuss the best ways to prepare and deliver an effective presentation.

• When selecting a topic to present, make sure to select a focus area. Build your talk around a single message that attracts the attention of your viewers. To ensure that your presentation appears insightful and well-designed, keep your presentation crisp.
• Storytelling is the most powerful strategy to incorporate in your presentation, regardless of whether you decide to discuss a light or heavy topic. A story can captivate your audience and help them remember your message.
• Create a memorable conclusion to your presentation to make it as convincing as possible. Consider concluding with a broad, open-ended question gleaned from your research. You could also conclude with a key takeaway that will help your audience realize the core idea of your presentation. Another way to make an impact with your conclusion is to connect your message to an attractive quote.

Personal Interview 

Throughout the Personal Interview round, the admissions committee evaluates everything, from your facial gestures to your communication skills, to learn more about you. In an interview, communication is two-way, as are the benefits. As a candidate, you become acquainted with many new attributes that are essential for thriving in a competitive world. As interviewers, the panellists ensure that the student feels at ease in the business college, can network effectively, and can cope with the stress of managing several projects at once. Essentially, the personal interview round is a “research round” in which you reflect on your own strengths and weaknesses to persuade the panellists that you are a deserving candidate.
