What are the AMAT FAQs for 2023? 

The AMAT Exam is the Alliance Management Aptitude Test. It is an entrance test organised by Alliance University, Bangalore. The exam is conducted to admit students to MBA Programs namely the MBA Flagship Program and the MBA Digital Transformation.

AMAT is the management entrance exam for Alliance University. It is conducted to take admissions in the MBA Programs of MBA Flagship Program and the MBA Digital Transformation in the university. 

The application deadline for the AMAT exam is the 15th of March 2023 for the July intake, which has been extended until further notice. The candidates can use the application link to navigate the course of their choice and apply online. 

The exam date of the AMAT 2023 July intake is yet to be decided by the authorities. The registration deadline has been extended and the date of the exam will be updated accordingly. Most probably the exam will be conducted in the month of April 2023 and the final results will be out by June. 

AMAT Admit Card will be released at least 3-4 days before the date of examination. The admit card is an important document and must be printed quickly as a hard copy is required at the time of examination to get entry into the exam hall and also at the time of admission counselling. 

The minimum score required in the bachelor’s degree to be eligible for the AMAT exam is 50%. The candidate must have passed the final year of graduation with a total of at least 50%. There is a 5% relaxation for SC and ST candidates, and admission for candidates from reserved categories are allowed at 45% marks. 

No, it is not necessary for the candidates to write AMAT Exam to get admission to Alliance University, the students can also apply through different scores like the MAT, CAT, NMAT, GMAT, XAT, CMAT or KMAT scorecards. The institute releases a separate cutoff for these examinations. 

If the candidate is unable to fulfil the AMAT eligibility criteria, they are not allowed to sit in the exam. If the candidates are to appear for their final examination after the test date or have submitted their scores for re-evaluation then they are supposed to produce their graduation mark sheet at the time of admission counselling or their admission will be cancelled. 

To apply for the AMAT examination the students have to visit the official website of Alliance University: https://apply.alliance.edu.in/. Candidates then choose the course of their preference and click on the ‘Apply’ tab next to it. 
Then the candidates have to create a registration ID and Password by giving their personal details and verifying through email. Then log in using the ID and Password emailed to them and filling the application form. After paying the application fee, the process is complete and the applicant can click submit after downloading the form. 

The students can apply for AMAT Examination online on the official website of Alliance University. The application link is directly available on the homepage of the website. However, there is also a provision for those in Bangalore to apply offline by visiting the university campus and getting a printed hard copy of the application form. 

The application fee for AMAT 2023 is INR 1,000. The fee can be submitted online on the direct payment link attached to the application form where various payment options are available. For offline applications, the candidates have to consult the university administration for the pay which will probably be paid through Cheque, Cash or Demand Draft.

The difficulty level of the AMAT exam is moderately difficult, which means the applicants can easily crack the exam with proper preparation and strategy. By completing the whole syllabus in time with revision and practice with sample papers the candidates can easily pass the examination.

All sections in the AMAT Exam carry equal weightage, but the Language Ability and General Awareness sections can be prepared by giving 30 minutes to 1 hour daily throughout the preparation. It is the Analytical and Logical Reasoning Sections that the candidates have to carefully prepare for as they are also related to business knowledge. 

Yes, the AMAT Exam also has negative markings. Each correct answer is awarded +1 mark whereas for every wrong answer ¼ score which is 0.25 marks is deducted. 

There are four main sections in the AMAT Exam Syllabus. Each of them carries 15 marks and 5 marks are allotted to the Comprehension passage. The various sections in the question paper are Language Ability, General Awareness, Analytical Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. 

The duration of the AMAT Exam is 60 minutes (1 Hour). In this duration, the candidate has to complete all the sections of the exam including the Comprehension Passage. There are all 60 multiple-choice questions in the exam and one comprehension section. 

The dates for the AMAT Result 2023 July intake will be announced shortly after the exam has been conducted. The final result is expected to be released by the end of May or the beginning of June 2023.

The first step in the selection process for the AMAT Exam is to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the exam. Then the candidates have to appear in the AMAT exam and if selected will proceed to the next round. The next rounds are an Oral Extempore followed by a Personal Interview. The candidates who are selected have to appear for the AMAT Counselling Session. 

Yes, there is a counselling session for the AMAT Exam. The date of AMAT Counselling for the July intake will be notified after the results have been released by the university. The candidates have to appear for the counselling session on the given date and time and submit the first-year course fee to secure admission. 

The counselling centres for the AMAT exam are in the following cities, Telangana – Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu – Chennai, Delhi – New Delhi, Karnataka – Bangalore and West Bengal – Kolkata. The candidates have to appear in person for counselling. The exact addresses will be emailed to candidates shortlisted in the merit list. It is wise to reach a day before the counselling date if the centre is far. 

The documents required for AMAT Counselling are as follows, Experience Letter (if any), Photo ID Proof, Mark sheets of Class 10th, Class 12th and Graduation, and 5 Passport size Photographs.
