Today, I feel happy to speak a few words on the topic \u201cTourism in India.\u201d<\/strong> India is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It is full of history, culture, nature, and festivals. Tourism in India is not just about visiting places. It is a journey to learn about different people, their food, clothes, languages, and traditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n India has many kinds of tourist places. We have historical tourism like the Taj Mahal in Agra, Qutub Minar in Delhi, and Hampi in Karnataka. People from different countries come to see these famous monuments. Then we have religious tourism. Many people visit temples like Kedarnath, Tirupati, Vaishno Devi, and Golden Temple in Amritsar. These places give peace to the mind and soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n India is also rich in natural beauty. We have the snowy mountains of Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, the deserts of Rajasthan, the forests of Madhya Pradesh, and the beaches of Goa and Kerala. These places attract nature lovers and adventure seekers. Eco-tourism is also growing in India. People now visit wildlife parks like Jim Corbett, Kaziranga, and Sundarbans to enjoy nature and learn about animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tourism is very important for our country. It creates jobs in hotels, restaurants, transport, and shopping. It helps local people earn money and improves the economy. In 2024, India earned over \u20b92.5 lakh crore from tourism. States like Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh get a big part of their income from tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To make tourism better, the Government started the \u201cIncredible India\u201d and \u201cDekho Apna Desh\u201d campaigns. These promote tourism within India and abroad. Cleanliness, safety, and better roads have made travel easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Friends, as students, we should respect tourists and our heritage sites.
