You will have to pay GBP 490 (INR 45,300) to extend or switch to a student visa from inside the UK.
You will also be required to pay a healthcare surcharge every year in order to receive the National Health Service (NHS) during your stay.
The health surcharge per year will be GBP 470 (INR 43.458).
