Hong Kong has implemented measures that has resulted in an increase in the number of foreign students.

43,945 students entered the city in the first nine months of this year alone.

Hong Kong has also implemented a talent-attracting measure with a 2-year visa for top university graduates.

The University of Hong Kong Korean Student Association reported that due to the termination of bursary programmes, students were not able to pay the rent for private housing.

However, the 2-year visa programme will solve this problem by giving work permits to the students.
