Study Abroad: Student Visa Top Priority, Working to Optimize Services, says US Ambassador
The USA has already issued over 2,00,000 student visas for Indian students; hiring is ongoing to further optimize the services.
The USA has reported that a record number of 1.22 lakh student visas have been issued to Indian students in 2022.
Jones said that the USA has put in a lot of effort to ensure that over 2,00,000 students receive their visas. while also adding that they are Working to Optimize Services.
Jones also provided a timeline on the inauguration of the new US Consulate in Hyderabad. Saying that tests are being undertaken and the campus would be ready in the first half of 2023.
During her trip to Hyderabad, the US Ambassador also visited the beautiful Spanish Mosque, also known as the ‘Masjid Iqbal Ud Daula’, and Paigah Tombs.
Leverage Edu also announced its partnership with VFS Global last year to ease the student visa application process.
