Study Abroad: New visa centre by the US Consulate in Hyderabad

All applicants including students with a study abroad programme should go to the new centre at Madhapur.

In Hyderabad, the largest US consulate in Asia will soon be inaugurated with 54 windows in the 12.2-acre facility.

The goal is to move into the new office in 2023, according to Jennifer Larson, U.S. Consul General in Hyderabad.

The US has contributed $297 million toward constructing the new office, which is situated on a 12.2-acre plot.

The first US diplomatic mission to open in India since 1947 is the one in Hyderabad, which opened in 2009.

Applicants need help finding slots despite the US's efforts to cut down on appointment wait times.

Students, particularly those hoping to enrol in US universities for the January intake, are searching for openings.
