The IELTS test is divided into 4 parts, listening, reading, writing and speaking. 

Listening test is of 30 minutes and involves four monologues and recorded conversations. 40 questions are asked based on these 4 recordings

Reading test is of 60 minutes and has four passages out of which 40 questions are asked. The passage will be descriptive, fact-based, and discursive.

Writing test is of 60 minutes and there are 2 questions in total. It has 1 short essay with a limit of 250 words and anther task of 150 words where you will have to describe given graphical representations.

Speaking test is of 11-14 minutes and includes detailed face-to-face discussion on different topics. There are 3 questions in total.
