Germany is ready to open student visa appointment slots from November 1, but here are some additional steps to follow before applying.
Get your academic records assessed by the the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) and obtain authenticity certificate.
Those applying for shorter-term courses do not require an APS Certificate, but those applying for a course longer than 90 days do.
Germany is also planning to increase the amount for a blocked account required by international students.
The amount to be paid into the blocked account when applying for a visa will now be €11,208.
