The TNPC exam is a state-level examination conducted every year by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.   

The mentioned body is responsible for the recruitment of eligible personnel into the State’s Public Service.

 TNPC exams conducted for Group ! to IV (annually)are:

Combined Civil Services Examination – I (Group 1 Services) Combined Civil Services Examination – II (Group-II And Group-II A Services) Combined Civil Services Examination-III (Group-III Services) Combined Civil Services Examination-IV (Group-IV Services & VAO) Combined Engineering Subordinate Services Examination

The TNPSC (exam) Eligibility criteria set by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission are:

a) Candidates must be well-versed in the Tamil language. They must be Indian citizens.

b) TNPC group I eligibility: 
 Age Limit – General category 32 years, age relaxation of 5 years to SC, ST, OBC category. 

c) Educational Qualification – Graduation from a Government recognized university


 TNPC group II eligibility:Age limit:  
Minimum – 18 years
Maximum- 30years

  Educational Qualification –  Must be graduated   

TNPC group III eligibility :
Age:
Minimum – 18 years
Maximum – 42 years

Educational Qualification – Graduate 

TNPC group IV eligibility :
Age:
Min– 18 years
Max– 30( general)
             32( OBC,SC, ST)

Educational Qualification – Must have qualified the SSLC examination.
