Alex Ellis, the British High Commissioner to India had issued an alert regarding a UK visa scam waring that fraudulent visas were on the rise.

According to him the applicants should remain vigilant in case the deal that is offered to them looks ‘to good to be true’- such as involving ways to get a UK visa quickly and easily.

You should also remain careful if you have been guaranteed a visa to the UK using documents the scammer themselves have provided.

You should also remain careful if you are asked for money via email or phone.

Moreover, fake websites have been designed to look like UK government’s official ones.
