75% of the Australian student visas, called Subclass 500, applications are processed in less than 28 days, while 90% of Australian student visas are processed in less than 48 days.

The organising body will put this decision into action from March 2023.

Your student visa processing time for Australia may be extended if the student does not correctly fill out his student visa application form.

It can also get delayed if the student does not include all of the documents/information required by the visa office, or if the management requires additional time to verify the documents.

The validity of Subclass 500 is 10 months + 2 additional months or less and only students in full-time courses can apply for the visa.

This will provide flexibility to students in meeting the application requirements for foreign universities.

International students in Australia must pay AUD 620 (INR 32,715) for obtaining Subclass 500. There is, however, an additional fee for applicant charges that need to be paid.
