Australian colleges appeal govt to offer 100,000 international students internships.

According to Universities Australia, the ancillary sectors are all experiencing a skills shortage

It is predicted that 30,000 jobs in the cybersecurity sector can go unfulfilled. 

The top body has offered solutions in a proposal, that includes investigating new avenues for providing financial aid to students pursuing degrees in subjects crucial to the national defence.

It will give students the chance to experience what it's like to work in the defence industry through internships or work-integrated learning opportunities.

Universities Australia added that they look forward to continuing their collaboration and ongoing initiatives to strengthen Australia's defence.
