Always use this 3 part format: Introduction -- Body paragraphs -- Conclusion

Never present an unclear position. Always think before you write. 

Always recheck spellings. Remember that computer-delivered IELTS does not have a spell-check. 

Use your own words. Don’t use memorised phrases like ‘old is gold’ 

Use real-life examples from your own experience, not surveys as they can be checked for authenticity!
