Eligibility Criteria of UPES DAT

The students can take admission in the B. Des course in two ways – either they can give the entrance exam or they can get admission on a merit basis. We have provided eligibility details for both ways so that you can choose which way you would like to choose for admission.

Eligibility for the Online UPES DAT (Entrance Exam)

• The candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level
• The candidate will have to appear in the interview and portfolio presentation after selection
• On successfully completing the above mentioned levels the student will be given admission

Eligibility for Merit Based Admission

• The candidate should have at least a minimum of 60% marks in the Higher and Senior Secondary from any stream
• A minimum of 50% marks in class 10^th and 12^th with a valid JEE MAIN/ UCEED/ NID/ NIFT scores shall be applicable
• The candidate who clear the above requirement are directly invited to the interview and portfolio presentation level

Scholarships Provided by UPES

• 4.nhA 20% scholarship is available for all the female students who take admission in the undergraduate and graduate courses in the 2021 session
• A student with a rank 1 – 400 in UCEED can avail a scholarship of 100% tuition fees waiver, with rank 401 – 800 can avail 85% tuition fees waiver and a student with a rank between 801 – 1200 can avail a scholarship waiving off 75% scholarship.
• A student with NIFT rank between 1 – 1000 can avail a 100% tuition fee waiver, between 1001 – 2000 can get an 85% tuition fees waiver and between 2001 – 3000 can get a 75% tuition fees waiver.
• Similarly a student with a rank between 1 – 500 in the NID can avail a scholarship with a value of 100% tuition fees, between 501 – 750 can avail an 85% tuition fees waiver and between 751 – 1000 can get a 75% tuition fees waiver.
