The minimum admission requirement for University of Nicosia is a recognised High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC). Financial Aid at University of Nicosia 

1. Academic Merit Scholarships based on previous academic performance

First-year students at the university are eligible for a scholarship based on their High School Completion Certificate grades, depending on the country where that grade was issued. Scholarships are awarded as a percentage reduction in tuition fees and are valid for one academic year.

In order to be eligible for this type of scholarship, students must:

• Submit their High School Leaving Certificate upon application.
• Be registered on a full-time basis (30 ECTS per semester).

2. Academic Merit Scholarships based on Academic Performance at the University

Two regular semesters after the first enrollment and in each additional semester, scholarships are awarded according to the academic achievements at the university as follows –

3. Athletic Scholarships

Students who are active in university sports clubs can receive sports scholarships of up to 40% of their tuition fees. The exact scholarship percentage will be determined after application and selection. The amount of the scholarship is determined by the type of sport and the contribution and performance of the student in this sport and participation in other university activities.
