John Boyega

John Boyega was born in the United Kingdom in 1992. A stage performer, film character and performing star, John Adedayo Bamidele Adegboyega, recognised professionally as John Boyega, is an English artist and manufacturer. He went up early to eminence in his native Britain for his role as Moses in the sci-fi satire film Attack the Block (2011). His foreign influence showed with his role as Finn in the Star Wars trilogy films — The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017), and The Growth of Skywalker (2019).

Christine McVie

Christine McVie is an English artist, composer and keyboardist, appropriately identified as one of the three lead vocalists and the keyboardist of Fleetwood Mac, a band she joined in 1970. She further delivered three solo collections. She is noted for her contralto vocals and her direct but sentimental lyrics that focus on love and communications. AllMusic describes her as an “Unashamedly soft-on-the-ears singer/songwriter, and the prime mover behind some of Fleetwood Mac’s popular hits.” Eight of her songs performed on Fleetwood Mac’s 1988 Greatest Shot collection.

Abiy Ahmed

Abiy Ahmed Ali is an Ethiopian leader working as the 4th Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia since April 2018. He was the third administrator of the Ethiopian Individuals’ Revolutionary Democratic Front and the first Oromo to perform in that position from the Oromo Democratic Party (ODP), one of the four coalition forces of the EPRDF. Abiy is likewise an accepted representative of the Ethiopian parliament and a representative of the ODP and EPRDF management commissions.

Etienne Schneider

Etienne Schneider was born on 29th January 1971. He is a Luxembourg politician and an economist of the Luxembourg Socialist Workers’ Party (LSAP). Besides serving his country as a minister of Economy and Foreign Trade, Etienne was the former deputy prime minister. He was a Municipal Councillor in Kayl from 1995 to 2005. From 1997 to 2004, he was Assistant General of the senatorial group of the LSAP in Parliament. Moreover, this notable alumni of the University of Greenwich had been voted for early alderman of the community of Kayl in 2005 and served Luxembourg from 2013 to 2018 as Minister for Defence. Etienne Schneider is another inspiration from the University of Greenwich. 

John Behr

John Behr is a British Eastern Orthodox priest and philosopher. Since 2020, he has served as the Regius Professor of Humankind at the Institution of Aberdeen. He is the erstwhile Dean of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Ecclesiastical Seminary, where he was the Head of the Master of Faith Program and the Father Georges Florovsky Distinguished Professor of Patristics. He was appointed to the priesthood on 8th September 2001. He is the editor of the Patristic Sequence delivered by St. Vladimir’s Publisher. He was voted administrator of the seminary on 18th November 2006 and served from 2007 until 2017, when he was referred to Father Georges Florovsky Distinguished Professor of Patristics.

Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Anne Bedingfield was born on 26th November 1981, and is known as an English singer and composer. Bedingfield’s debut album – Unwritten, which was released in 2004, consisted of primarily up-tempo pop songs and influences from R&B music. This album secured a positive response followed by worldwide success with more than 2.3 million copies being sold world-wide. Bedingfield earned a Grammy Award nomination for the Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for the album  “Unwritten”, and in 2005-2006 she was again nominated for the Best British Female Composer in Brit Awards.

Malorie Blackman

Malorie Blackman (born 8 February 1962) is a British journalist who occupied the position of Children’s Laureate from 2013 to 2015. She primarily addresses composition and audio production for children and young adults. She has applied Informational Fiction to examine civil and humane issues. Her popularly hailed Nonentities and Crosses set employs the setting of an imaginary dystopia to examine discrimination.

Charles K. Kao

Sir Charles Kuehn Kao (4 November 1933 – 23 September 2018) was a physicist and mechanical engineer who pioneered the expansion and use of fibre views in machineries. In the 1960s, Kao invented numerous ways to fuse glass fibres with radiation in order to convey automated data, which established the preparation for the transformation of the Internet. Identified as the “Godfather of Broadband”, the “Father of Fibre Optics”, and the “Father of Fibre Optic Communications”, Kao was awarded the 2009 Nobel Advantage in Physics for “groundbreaking accomplishments dealing with the delivery of light in fibres for optical connection”. Born in Shanghai, China, Kao was a stable inhabitant of Hong Kong.

Gareth Thomas

Gareth Richard Thomas, born 15 July 1967 in Harrow, London, is a British Labour Co-operational leader who has been the Representative of Parliament (MP) for Harrow West since 1997. Thomas had the position of Minister of State at the Administration for International Situation and, adhering to the 2010 appointment, entered the shadow frontbench side. Thomas served as Chair of the Co-operational Party from 2001 till 2019.

Chinenye Akinlade

Chinenye Ochuba-Akinlade is a Nigerian beauty pageant winner. She is of Igbo origin. Seeking the conclusion of her inferior schooling at Reagan Memorial Secondary School, she received the 2002 version of the Most Fascinating Girl in Nigeria pageant while attending the institution. Despite being a favourite for the Miss Universe 2002 headdress, she failed to establish herself among the fine ten. However, at Miss World, she was an excellent ten finalists, as far as the African Continental Queen of Beauty. Formerly a pupil at the University of Lagos, Chinenye finished her degree in Computing and Economics at the University of Greenwich, London.

Sarah Gillespie

Sarah Gillespie is a British American artist, composer, and author based in London. She has four collections, noted for incorporating poetic lyrics with people, blues and members of Jazz. Her beginning verse, ‘Queen Ithaca Blues’, was promoted by Albion Beatnik Press. Gillespie’s 4th collection ‘Wishbones’ is constructed and co-performed by Mercury. Her new collection includes Kit Downes – organ and instrument, James Maddren – drums, Emma Divine – vocals, Laura Jurd – trumpet, Ruth Noller – bass, and Chris Montague – guitar. ‘Wishbones’ was introduced at the Southbank Centre’s Purcell Apartment on October 29th 2018.
