September Intake In Germany 

If you are ready and determined to pursue your higher education in Germany, then you are in an urgent need of a roadmap that can guide you with correct steps and actions to be taken at the correct time which could land you at your favourite university in Germany. You must know the correct requirements to study in Germany for Indian students. Given below is a timeline that can guide you for the September intake in Germany.

April To May Intake

If you have made up your mind to study abroad and have chosen your destination to be Germany, then start preparing for your entrance exams like GMAT or GRE, which will be needed as a part of your September intake in Germany. Apart from preparing for entrance exams, students will also have to prepare for language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL for English and TestDaf or TELC for German. Students must sit in for these exams at least 2 or 3 months before the deadline of September intake in Germany so that they can also sit for improvement of marks and reappear in exams.

May To June Intake

Apart from studying for entrance exams and other language proficiency tests, students have to also prepare for things like SOP, LORs, Resumes and other credentials and important pieces of documentation for the September intake in Germany. Students must start drafting their SOPs to study in Germany, get it proofread by friends, family, college professors, experts and mentors. They must also start requesting for LORs. It is ideal to invest at least a month on these activities and research work. 

July To August Intake

The visa process may take up to 3 months, so as soon as your offer letter may arrive, apply for a relevant student visa for the September intake in Germany. 

Once you have completed all the above-stated activities, it is finally time to pack your bags and land in Germany. It is advisable to reach and land in Germany at least a month prior when the semester begins to be familiar with the country, the locality where you will be living, the accommodation facilities, the university, the neighbourhood and other factors.
