  • 1949 – Manipur, a Separate State
    On September 21, 1949, Manipur became a separate state within India. This happened after the Maharaja was coerced to sign a Merger Agreement with the Union of India.
  • 2000 – Establishment of The Liberal Democratic Friends India Society
    The Liberal Democratic Friends India Society was established. The purpose was to ensure better relations between India and Britain.
