MBA Requirements

Questrom School of Business offers various courses for its international candidates. The students can apply for the courses from the official website of the institution. However, the admission requirements for international candidates are slightly different from that of US citizens. The international students would also require a valid student’s visa to study in the USA.

Application Process

Once you have collected all the required documents, can start with the application process. 

  • Fill the application form on the official website of Questrom School of Business.
  • Next, you must pay the required application fee of USD 125 (₹9381). 
  • Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Bsoton MBA admissions committee
  • Within three weeks of application submission, you will be informed if you are invited for the interview
  • If selected, you will receive a conditional offer under which you need to pay a commitment fee of 15% and submit a financial guarantee that you can meet the costs of the programme
  • Once you have completed the requirements, you will receive an unconditional offer

Application Deadline

It is of absolute importance for the students to fill up their application forms and submit all their important documents online before the deadline. No special cases are entertained by Questrom School of Business. The deadlines for the undergraduate and graduate program is different. Questrom School Campus

The Boston metropolitan area is home to dozens of colleges and universities and thousands of students. The business school located here is housed in the Rafik B. Hariri Building, located at 595 Commonwealth Avenue. The building opened in October 1996 and contains over 40 classrooms, a 375-seat lecture hall, five computer labs, and the Frederick S. Pardee Management Library. The building offers wireless Internet access throughout as well as 4,000 wired data ports. A Breadwinners Deli and a wired Starbucks are located on the second floor of the building. The Hariri Building also contains 19 team rooms available only for undergraduate and graduate Questrom students to hold team meetings.

Merit-Based Scholarships

Boston University Questrom School of Business offers a variety of merit-based scholarship programs for qualified full-time students. Applicants are notified of these opportunities in their initial offers of admission. A separate application for scholarship consideration is not needed, and the Admission Committee considers all admitted candidates for merit-based scholarship awards. For the fall 2021 entering class, almost 84% received scholarship assistance with the average award exceeding half-tuition each year. Here are the various awards Questrom currently offers:

  • Dean’s Scholarship: In their effort to attract the highest quality candidates from around the world, the Dean’s Scholarship program provides awards ranging from $10,000 to full tuition for candidates with outstanding professional, academic, and personal qualities. Both domestic and international candidates will be considered for these awards.
  • Social Impact Scholarship: to attract the highest quality candidates from around the world, the Dean’s Scholarship program provides awards ranging from $10,000 to full tuition for candidates with outstanding professional, academic, and personal qualities. Both domestic and international candidates will be considered for these awards.
  • City Year Scholarship: The Boston University Questrom School of Business has partnered with City Year to sponsor a minimum of three scholarships to our full-time Social Impact MBA  for City Year alumni and staff members who have at least one year of service and/or City Year staff members who have been employed for at least two years. Questrom feels that there is a the rich perspective City Year alumni and staff bring to their educational experience and this experience will add to the Social Impact MBA program, focused on addressing society’s most challenging humanitarian and social problems in the global economy. This partnership will provide a minimum of $15,000 for the first year of study, and is renewable for a second year.
  • MBA + MSDT Summer Scholarship: Available to outstanding MBA+ MSDT candidates, this program provides supplemental support for the added tuition costs associated with obtaining this joint degree. Awards range from $5,000 to $10,000. This award is only applicable to the summer semester of the MBA+ MSDT program. Both domestic and international candidates will be considered for these awards.
  • Prospanica Scholarship: This scholarship is provided by Prospanica and the Boston University Questrom School of Business to provide greater access to the best in graduate management education for Hispanic prospective students. Boston University will provide scholarships to be awarded on behalf of the Boston Chapter of Prospanica. United States citizens of Latin American descent will be given primary consideration for this award. Candidates will be notified in their admission package, and Prospanica will be notified once the recipient has confirmed his or her intent to enroll at the Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Private Scholarships

  • Golden Key Scholarships – Golden Key offers unique scholarships, awards and grants to members, alumni and advisors all over the world.
  • Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program – The Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program is available to students who are studying accounting, business administration, finance, or criminal justice. Students must also express an interest in fraud examination or a similar anti-fraud profession in order to be eligible. Applicants must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours.
  • FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship Program – The FINCAD women in Finance Scholarship Program offers an annual award of $10,000 to support a woman student of graduate study in the field of finance, particularly relating to the use of derivatives in capital markets and/or financial risk management. The scholarship is open to women of any age and citizenship.
  • Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship – The GFOA’s Minorities in Government Finance Scholarship of $9,000 is available for award to an upper-division undergraduate or graduate student of public administration, (governmental) accounting, finance, political science, economics, or business administration (with a specific focus on government or nonprofit management).
