About Post Matric Scholarship Scheme

The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India launched the Post Matric Scholarship which is a centrally sponsored scheme implemented through the state government and UT administration. Eligibility Criteria

Before making your application for this scholarship, you are required to fulfil certain essentials to be deemed eligible by the specific institution. Here are the major eligibility criteria you need to keep in mind:

  • The scholarship is only applicable to citizens of India.
  • This is a scholarship program which aids the minority section of the society. Thus, students belonging to the minority communities, i.e. Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi are eligible to apply for the scholarship program.
  • Students who have secured an aggregate of 50% in the previous examinations can apply for the scholarship.

Follow the below steps to fill up the online application form of SC Post Matric Scholarship Scheme 2022:

  • Visit the official website
  • Tap on the new registration option
  • Tick the declaration after reading all the rules and regulations
  • Click on continue
  • A new form will appear before you
  • Add all your credentials such as name, DOB, mobile number, gender, etc
  • Tap on register
  • Now, login from your Student ID
  • Tap on the application form icon
  • Select the scholarship category
  • Enter the information on the form such as name, DOB, Father’s name, Aadhar Card Number, Mobile no., etc.

Post Matric Scholarship Amount

  • Full-Tuition Fees (including non-refundable charges): INR 2 Lakhs per annum for students studying in private sector institutions and INR 3.72 Lakhs per annum for private sector flying club.
  • Living Expenses: INR 3,000 per month per student
  • Books and Stationary: INR 5,000 per annum per student
  • For Computer/Laptop: INR 4,500 one time assistance

Note: This SC Scholarship will be funded by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. The central government will pay tuition fees and non-refundable charges directly to the institution via DBT, and other expenses will be paid straight into the student’s bank account via DBT.
