Exams Cancelled in 2020
Covid-19 has been around us for more than a year and it affected the exams in 2020 as well. Let’s check out the exams that were cancelled in 2020:
CBSE Board Exams 2020
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has recently announced that the pending exams for the classes 10th & 12th have been postponed till 31st March. A formal notice regarding the renewal of dates will be issued after 31st March. Apart from this, the re-exams scheduled for the school students are also suspended till the same date.
ICSE Board Exams 2020
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), just like CBSE, has postponed the ongoing list of exams for classes 10th and 12th. The ICSE officials have informed that the new dates will be announced shortly after or on 31st March.
JEE Mains Exam 2020
Considered as one of the toughest exams in India, JEE Mains, which was supposed to be held in the month of April has been postponed by National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body. The admit card for the examination will now be available on 31st March instead of 20th March. Detailed information regarding the rescheduling will shortly be updated on the official website.

Bihar D.El.Ed. Joint Entrance Exam 2020
Initially scheduled on March 28th, Bihar D.El.Ed has also been rescheduled due to the severe outbreak of Coronavirus. Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) being the competent authority will release a notice sharing the revised details of the examination.
NIOS Exams 2020
A list of exams, including practical theory examinations for this session, under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) for secondary and senior secondary classes have also been put on hold. These exams were due between 19th – 31st March but now have temporarily been postponed. The authorities will release formal notice about the new dates soon.
