KVS 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Tabulated below are the required education qualifications for all the vacancies for KVS recruitment. 

PGT All Subjects	Post Graduate in Respective subject with at least 50% Marks and the subject in B.Ed
PRT All Subjects	12th or equivalent with 50% with Junior Basic Training of minimum 2 years
TGT All Subjects	Graduate in respective subject with at least 50% Marks and the subject in B.Ed
Librarian	Masters in Library Science + 2 years in service courses
HMs	50% minimum in Graduation, Minimum 3 Years in service courses

Exam Pattern

The KVS Exam pattern for 2021 is a little different from usual. But there are not many changes that you need to worry about. You can get an idea of the exam pattern for KVS 2021 with that of KVS 2020. Exams for PGT and PRT are the same. Here are the exam patterns:

The test for this KVS recruitment will be for a total of 3 hours.

After clearing these tests, you will be called for a 60 Marks Interview. Your performance will be based on both interview and test which will decide if you will be recruited by KVS or not.

Apply Online

In order to apply for KVS recruitment, you need to follow the instructions given below. 

• Apply online through www.kvsangathan.nic.in.
• You can apply for more than one post under KVS recruitment if you wish to, and qualify for
• In such a case, you need to pay the application fee for all the posts you apply for in KVS recruitment. However, you can only apply for one subject each post as the exams for a single post take place the same day.
• Application fees for each post is: 
  1. Principal- Rs 1500
  2. Vice Principal- Rs 1500
  3. PGT- Rs. 1000
  4. TGT- Rs. 1000
  5. Librarian- Rs. 1000
  6. Primary Teacher- Rs. 1000
• You can pay via debit/ credit card or through net banking
• Add a digital passport-sized photo of less than 50 kb in your application. Add a digital signature of less than 20kb.
• Activate your email address and mobile number to get notifications if you are selected for the final stage in the process of KVS recruitment.

Admit Card 

You can download your KV Examination Admit Card 100-15 days before the examination by logging on to your ID from the official website. Fill in your registration number and password, and you can download your admit card from there. 

Age Limit

For each position of exam for the KVS recruitment, there is no lower limit of age but there is an upper limit. You can check it out here:

The results for your KVS recruitment exam will be declared twice. Once, after you have qualified your written exam. After this, you will be invited for an interview.
