About Kingston University

Kingston University London first opened its doors in 1899, offering courses in chemistry, electrical wiring, building construction, nursing, dressmaking, and clay modelling. The Board of Education designated it as a technical college in 1926. From Kingston Polytechnic, the university was renamed Kingston University in 1992. Kingston School of Art, Faculty of Business and Social Sciences, Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education, and Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Computing are the four faculties that exist in the university. Each university faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in a variety of fields.
