Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exams are conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to shortlist candidates for admissions into the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes at JNU. Whilst filling the application form, the candidates must choose three courses of their choice but applicants will be given admission depending on the availability of seats, merit and the preference of the applicant. The idea behind JNUEE is to choose candidates who have the right skills and aptitude for pursuing the course of their choice. Here are the exam dates for JNUEE 2021:

The minimum requirement for JNUEE is that the test-taker must have secured a minimum of 55% in their degree. As Jawaharlal Nehru University offers a wide range of programmes the eligibility criteria of each course is different from the other. Therefore, the candidates should check the eligibility criteria of the respective course before filling the application form. Following is the eligibility of some of the popular courses offered by JNU.

|MSc Life Sciences||A minimum of 55% in the bachelor’s degree (Biological, Physical or Agricultural Sciences or Biotechnology) under the 10+2+3|
|PhD (Direct admission)||2-year Mphil or a one-year MPhil graduate with research experience (1 year ) and a publication.
Master’s degree or diploma equivalent of Master degree (aggregate 55%) with research publication with a 2-year research experience.
JNUEE is a 3-hour long exam and is conducted in an online mode. JNUEE is a 100 marks paper and comprises objective, subjective and short answer type questions depending on the course. There will be negative marking for wrong questions in the case of objective type questions. Here is an overview of the JNUEE pattern:

How to Apply for JNUEE?
Candidates are required to fill the online application form on the official website of the university from March 2, 2021. Given below are some of the guidelines for completing the application process.
- First, visit the official website of JNU and register for your chosen course with your name, email address and other credentials.
- You will receive a login ID to sign in and fill in the personal, educational and contact details asked in the application form. Then, you will have to upload scanned photographs and signature.
- The application fee (non-refundable) for JNUEE can be submitted through debit or credit card/internet banking or e-challan filed by SBI.
