What is IPMAT?

The management courses of the IIM-Indore have been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). While the first three years of the IPM program are similar to a BBS course where the emphasis is placed on building a strong foundation in business and management fundamentals, the curriculum of the last two years provides in-depth knowledge on various business-related subjects. The integrated degree program is also a highly sought-after post-graduate program in Management.

Why IPM?    

IPM is a great career option for students who are planning to go into the management position directly after their class 12th. Its full form is Integrated Programme Management and provides a dual degree for candidates passing Class 12th standard. An IPM degree is exclusively provided by top management schools in India i.e. the IIM Rohtak, IIM Ranchi, IIM Bodh Gaya, and IIM Indore. Nirma University also accepts IPMAT scores for its integrated MBA program. The IPM course is a great inclusion to your career as:

• It will provide you with a BBA + MBA degree from IIM. While many students apply for the CAT exam after their graduation, only a few make it to IIMs. Having an IPM course will ensure your seat in the school.
• You will be taught new and advanced management courses as an integrated MBA will make sure your lessons in bachelor’s and master’s are not repeated.
• An MBA student has only one year to prepare for their placement but with an integrated MBA, you will be working towards placements 3 years prior. The package will also be an average 11-15 LPA. 
• With an MBA, your career will directly start with the position of a manager or assistant manager unlike with only a bachelor’s where you start with an executive position.  

IPMAT 2022 Phases

Candidates seeking admission to IIM Indore’s five-year integrated program should be aware that the curriculum is separated into two phases: Phase I covers the first three years of the program, while Phase II covers the last two years. 

Phase I: The program’s first phase lays the groundwork. Students must do a social internship in addition to their coursework after the first three years.

Phase II: The program’s second phase focuses on business management. Students must do a business internship in addition to their education during the fourth and fifth years.

IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

Prospective applicants need to fulfill certain eligibility criteria to sit for the IPMAT. These prerequisites have been tabulated below:

IPMAT Application Form 

The application process for IPMAT is completely online and the candidates have to submit their application forms before the above-mentioned deadline. IPMAT applications began in the second week of February 2022. Candidates are allowed to fill out the application form online. Make sure you are eligible to apply for IPMAT.

IPMAT 2022 Admit Card

Candidates who complete the application procedure will receive an admit card for IPMAT 2022 from IIM Indore. For those who have already enrolled, the IPMAT 2022 admit card is accessible online. After downloading the admission card, candidates are needed to print it. The IPMAT 2022 hall ticket is a vital document that must be brought to the exam center on test day. The admission card for IPMAT 2022 will include information such as the candidate’s name, picture, exam date, and location. 

• Go to the IPMAT’s official website.
• Find and click the link that says “Log in to fill/edit/view/submit/Download Admit Card of IPM AT 2022 application form (For applicants who have already registered).”
• After that, click the submit button and input the “Application number/ User ID and Password.”
• Finally, your IPMAT 2022 admissions card will be downloaded.

IPMAT 2022 Result

The conducting institute, IIM Indore, is expected to disclose the IPMAT 2022 results in an online format in the fourth week of July. Candidates can only check their results online using their IPMAT login credentials on the official IPMAT website. The IPMAT 2022 result displays the test-taker’s overall and sectional results. Candidates who have been shortlisted based on their IPMAT score will be invited to participate in the WAT and PI stages of the selection process.

How to Check IPMAT 2022 Result?

• Go to the IPMAT section of IIM Indore’s official website.
• Select “Results” from the drop-down menu.
• Enter the number of your IPMAT 2022 application form.
• Now input the Security Code/Password and the registered email ID or date of birth in DD/MM/YY format.
• The IPMAT 2022 result will be revealed if you click on the ‘Get Status’ page. Take two prints after downloading it.

IPMAT 2022 Selection Process

The selection process of IPMAT does not only include the test itself. After you have completed the IPMAT test, a video conference interview will be held in a place of a personal interview. The result of both will decide whether you are selected for the course.

IPMAT 2022 Cutoff

The IPMAT 2022 cutoff will be announced by IIM Indore. The IPMAT cutoff is the minimum score that test takers must achieve to be included in future selection rounds. Shortlisted candidates who meet the IPMAT 2022 cutoff will be invited to a Writing Ability Test and a Personal Interview. IIM Indore has issued the IPMAT cutoffs for the previous year in several categories, as shown below:

Exam Day Guidelines

Here are some guidelines that you must follow on your exam date:

• Report at least an hour before the exam.
• You cannot leave the examination hall before the exam ends.
• You cannot take any electronic device including a calculator, mobile phone, etc to the exam room.
• You cannot send anyone else to take your exam
• Read all the instructions carefully before beginning the exam
• Your admit card will only be given if you meet all the eligibility criteria of the IPMAT exam
• Carry an identification card with you to the examination center.
• You are not allowed to breach hall discipline and if you do, the examiner will take an action against you.
• If your identification details do not match your admit card details, you will not be allowed to take the test.
