The fee for the IELTS exam in India varies it depends on the purpose of the exam and the mode of appearance.

Modes of Payment
Applicants can pay the IELTS exam fee mainly in three modes:
- Netbanking
- Credit Card / Debit Card (Visa or Master)
- Demand Draft – It should be drawn in favour of “IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi”. The Demand Draft or DD should be made from the list of IDP-approved banks only.
- Bank Deposit- Alternatively, candidates can deposit cash in ICICI/HDFC bank branches through a customized deposit slip that can either be downloaded from the IELTS IDP India website or obtained from the nearest IELTS IDP branch office/ referral partner. It is mandatory to attach the original customer copy of the deposit slip along with the IELTS application form

IELTS Re-evaluation Fees
In the case when the candidate is unsatisfied with the IELTS score, he/she can get their exam score re-checked. To re-evaluate the previous score candidate need to fill out the application form and submit/courier the same within six weeks of the IELTS test date. A IELTS exam rechecking fee of INR 11,625 (including taxes) must be paid by Demand Draft payable in New Delhi, in the name of “IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED.” If the new score is changed then the re-evaluation fee will get refunded to the students between two-four weeks of the new result declaration otherwise not.
IELTS Rescheduling Fees
Due to any unforeseen circumstances, if the candidate requires to modify their IELTS exam day, he/she must request the same. To transfer test day requests must be generated by the applicant at least five weeks before their scheduled exam day. The next scheduled test day must be within three months of the original test date. To change the date candidate needs to pay INR 3,300 as an administrative charge, including taxes.

IELTS Cancellation Fees
IELTS exam cancellation can be made only before appearing in the test. There are very specific rules for the IELTS exam fee refund policy.

IELTS Retake Fee
If you want to retake the IELTS exam due to scoring less or any other reason whatsoever, a full IELTS Exam application fee has to be paid. There is no difference in the registration fee for retake.

IELTS Special Handling Requests
For special handling requests, a notice has to be given to the test center 6 weeks before for any assistance required for visual, hearing or speaking, learning.
Note: In the case when the applicant did not appear for the test then there will be no refund given but if a candidate shares a medical certificate within three days after the test date, a refund minus 25% of the test fee will be received.
