Internal Assessment: ICSE Class 10 Syllabus

Internal assessments are a crucial part of both the English papers. The ICSE class 10 syllabus for each of them is described below: 

Paper 1 (English Language) 

The school will be organizing 2 internal assessments for class 10 students. They will be scheduled at regular interval. The main type of question asked under these would be of listening and speaking types. As the End term paper evaluates writing skills, the internal assessment keeps a check on other essential skills. 

Paper 2 (English Literature)

Based on the chapters enlisted int he ICSE class 10 syllabus, candidates will be given a written assignment in between the academic session. These would include 2 or 3 questions that are to be answered in 1500 words total by the students. Date of submission of the assignment as well as the written topics that will be allocated to learners are in the hands of the school.
