The scholarship is also a part of supporting sustainable development overseas.

Are You Eligible? 

The eligibility requirements will vary for each type of scholarship and fellowship. However, to apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship, you must be a citizen or permanent resident of a Commonwealth country. You must also show your inability to pursue studies in the UK. 

How to Apply?

Before starting with the application, you must check with your chosen university for their advice on when to apply, admission requirements, and guidelines for applying. 

As applications for Commonwealth scholarships are made through the CSC’s online application portal, the first step you need to do is to visit the official portal. Further visiting the online portal, you will be asked to select your country of residence. After selecting the country, you will be directed to the Registration and Login page. Enter your email address and password and submit the same. 

As applications are made through an online CSC application system, the CSC will not accept any applications that are not submitted through the online portal. Also, note that you can also apply to more than one university or course. 

You must keep the following documents ready before proceeding with the application: 

The CSC will not accept the following documents if submitted outside the online application system. You must submit all the documents as files that are not more than 5 MB in size and must be in PDF, .doc, .docx, .odt, .jpg, and .jpeg. Zip files will not be accepted.
