GUJCET Exam Pattern

Mentioned below is the important exam pattern of the GUJCET. 

• It consists of three subjects divided into two sections
  • Paper I – Chemistry and Physics
  • Paper-II – Mathematics

Merit List is prepared to give 60% weightage to class 12 results and 40% for GUJCET percentile score.

Eligibility Criteria

Given below is the eligibility criteria of GUJCET. There is separate eligibility for separate courses. 

General Eligibility:

• Candidates must be Indian citizen.
• Candidates must have the domicile of Gujarat state.
• Candidates will be eligible to apply only if they appear in the last semester of the qualifying exam.

Engineering:

• Must have cleared 10+2 level from any recognized board
• Physics and Mathematics must have been the compulsory subjects
• Secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).

Pharmacy:

• Must have cleared 10+2 level from any recognized board
• Physics and Chemistry must have been the compulsory subjects

Diploma Programme:

Although there is no fixed syllabus for GUJCET, the question paper is prepared on the basis of the academic syllabus of class 11 and 12. The GUJCET Syllabus is given below:

How to Apply for GUJCET?

• Register through the official site: Log on to the official website and Apply Online. Fill in the required details to get a unique id and password to further the application process.

The admit card of GUJCET is released online by GSEB and is one of the most essential documents that candidates must carry on the exam day. Steps to download GUJCET Admit Card:

• Visit the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board official website, Gandhinagar, and click on the board website’.
• Look for the link that reads ‘GUJCET 2021 hall ticket’.
• Candidates must enter the application number and date of birth.
• Click on the ‘submit’ button.
• Download the admit card and take its printout.

Important Documents

There are certain essential documents that a student must carry on the exam day apart from the admit card. Given below is a list of the same:

• Voter Card

Results

The GUJCET results are announced once the exam is successfully conducted. Candidates can check their results by following these steps:
