Paper-Delivered GRE General Test
GRE is also conducted offline where you can check the availability of a particular GRE exam date that might suit you as per the announced dates and accordingly choose your test center. Here are the latest dates of GRE 2023

- Ensure that you keep the deadlines for your application in mind while opting for a suitable date. Since the paper-based test might take longer, be careful that the result is delivered well in accordance with your application submission.
- The results would be directly sent to the score recipient that the candidate designates as per the estimated score report mailing dates.
- Unlike the Internet-based GRE test, the number of attempts for this exam pattern is not defined.
Computer Delivered GRE General Test
- Book a seat online at the official website of GRE and register yourself by creating an EST account. If you are an existing user, simply login to your account.
- The next step in booking GRE exam dates is to select the test you want to give and choose a centre for the same.
- The computer-based online General Test can be taken all around the year. For the test, there are particular Prometric test centers. You can either choose to opt for these centers or go for additional testing locations that are not a part of the Prometric centers.
- Keep in mind that the results for computer-based tests are provided to the designated score recipient within an approximate span of 10-15 days. However, it may vary in some extreme cases. Hence while scheduling a GRE exam date, keep in mind that the time-lapse does not hinder your university application.
- This test can be taken only 5 times in a period of 12 months. And in that span, there needs to be a minimum gap of 21 days between two attempts. This clause is applicable even if the test takers cancel the scores awarded to them in their previous attempts.
Note: The appointments for the test are taken into consideration on a first come first serve basis if you are planning to take up a test in the near future, check the GRE eligibility requirements and book a slot soon.
