Goa Education Trust Scholarship Rewards

There are different kinds of scholarship offered by the Goa state government. Given below is a comprehensive list of all scholarships and their respective rewards:

DCT Scholarship Scheme, Goa Tuition fee and hostel fee: full or partial
Goa Education Trust Scholarships, UK Tuition fees up to 12500 GBP
Vidyadhan Scholarship Program, Goa Rs. 6000 per annum
National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) -1000 scholarships will be disbursed after the conclusion of the two-level examination. The benefits will be:
-An amount of Rs.1250 per month for Class 11 and 12 students
-An amount of Rs.2000 per month for Undergraduate and Postgraduate students
-The scholarship for PhD will be in accordance with the UGC norms
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) -A monthly stipend of Rs. 5000 will be given and an annual grant of Rs. 20,000 for graduation and integrated 1st to 3rd-year students
-A monthly stipend of Rs.7000 will be given and an annual contingency grant of Rs. 28,000 for MSc and integrated 4th to 5th-year students
Post Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities -A scholarship of Rs.7000 per annum for Classes 11 and 12
-Rs. 10,000 per year for technical as well as vocational courses of grades 11 and 12
-Rs. 3000 per year for undergraduate and postgraduate students
-Maintenance allowance of up to a maximum of -Rs. 1200 per month for 10 months
Pre-Matric Scholarships Scheme for Minorities -Funds up to Rs. 500 per annum for admission fee and tuition fee
-Maintenance allowance of up to Rs. 600 per month for 10 months

Goa Education Trust Scholarship: Eligibility Criteria

Interested students must carefully go through the eligibility criteria and see if they fulfil the necessary parameters. Here are the requirements for those planning to apply for the Goa Education Scholarship:

  • Student must be an Indian national
  • Student must be residents of Goa or be born to Goan parents or grandparents
  • Student must not be more than 30 years old 
  • Student must be graduates holding a brilliant academic record and extracurricular achievements
  • Student must have received admission in a  PG course in the UK for up to one year.

Goa Education Trust Scholarship: Application Process

Given below is a step-by-step procedure for applying to the Goa Education Trust Scholarship:

  1. Visit and download the application form from the official British Council website
  2. Fill in the application and also upload the required documents 
  3. Send the application to the British Council either through email or post.
