Campus Life at George Brown College

St. James Campus, Casa Loma Campus, and Waterfront Campus are the three main campuses of George Brown College, which are all located in the centre of downtown Toronto. History of George Brown College

The college welcomed a little over 2,000 students when it first opened its doors in 1968. In addition to degrees in construction, early childhood education, dentistry services, and the culinary arts, which George Brown College now teaches, the college once offered programmes like signwriting and watchmaking, which may or may not be as relevant today. In the past, it offered a marine engineering degree to train students for professions at sea. Since then, the number of full-time college students has increased to almost 30,000. People come to George Brown College from all over the GTA, the country, and the world to learn the skills and get the experience they need to excel in the workplace.

Since 2004, George Brown College has more than doubled in size, expanded its international collaborations, and enhanced its commitment to building Toronto’s cultural, economic, and social fabric under the direction of current President Anne Sado.
