On this day, the Press Club of India was founded in New Delhi.

1991 – Nutan passed away
Prominent Indian actress Nutan (aged 54) passed away on February 21.

1999 – Conclusion of the 2 day India – Pakistan meeting
On this day Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee concluded his 2-day meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which led to the Lahore Declaration on the use of nuclear weapons.

2008 – Reliance communications acquires Anupam Global Soft
Industrial Anil Ambani’s company Reliance communications acquired an Uganda based Company Anupam Global Soft on this day. 

2013 – Hyderabad Blasts
2 blasts occurred in the city of Hyderabad by Indian Mujahideen which led to 18 deaths and 131 casualties on February 21 2013.

2018 – Kamal Hasan Launched a Political Party
Indian filmstar Kamal Hasan launched a political party Makkal Needhi Mayyam in Tamil Nadu state

1991 – Discussions over the gulf war
USSR announces that Iraq has agreed to a proposal to end the Gulf War, but the US calls the plan unacceptable on February 21 1991.
