Fair and Lovely Scholarship program is a Pan-India offered by the Fair and Lovely foundation. The main objective of the scholarship is to provide financial assistance to girls aspiring to pursue various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Indian colleges. The Fair and Lovely foundation selects 55 students annually for this scholarship program. Each selected student is rewarded with a scholarship amount of 25,000 – 1,00,000 INR. Moreover, students from rural areas are awarded an extra amount of Rs 30,000 in order to meet the extra expenses that might occur while pursuing a course. 

Fair and Lovely Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the Fair and Lovely Scholarship, candidates are required to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Fair and Lovely Scholarship only applies to female candidates.
• Applicants are required to pass Class 12th from a recognized board of education. 
• Applicants from the age group of 15-30 years are eligible to apply for the scholarship.  
• The scholarship is only for those wanting to pursue graduate and postgraduate courses from Indian government colleges. 
• Applicants are required to score an aggregate of 50-60% in Class 12th.
• The candidate’s family income should not exceed more than 5 lakhs per annum.
• Candidates preparing for exams related to Banking Services, Civil Services, IIT-JEE, Language Communications are also eligible to apply for the scholarship program.

Fair and Lovely Scholarship Selection Procedure

The selection will be based on the applicant’s academic merit and financial need. However, priority will be given to the physically challenged, single parent and orphans Those shortlisted must attend telephonic interviews, which may last anywhere between 10-15 minutes. The selected candidates will be announced on the official website.

Fair and Lovely Scholarship Results

The applicants can see the 2022 results on the official website using their registered ID. The results are usually declared a month after the telephonic interviews.
